世界遺産平泉の新しい観光総合ポータルサイト“ヒライズミーツ”の開設にあたりご挨拶を申し上げます。
新型コロナウイルス感染症が世界的に猛威を振るう中、国内の観光・経済交流も非常に厳しい状況にあります。
しかしながら、この感染症への予防対策を皆で協力して取り組み、人々の心と日常生活の安心を回復させながら、多くの皆様に平泉の地に足を運んでいただきたいと思い、平泉の魅力がたくさん詰まったポータルサイトをここに開設させていただきました。
どうか世界遺産平泉を訪れた際には、“ヒライズミーツ”のコンセプトでもある「平泉の人、景色、食、温泉、すべてに出会える…」そんな居心地の良い時間・空間をお過ごしいただければ幸いです。

Greetings. My name is Yukio Aoki, mayor of Hiraizumi.
Please allow me to welcome you to Hiraizu-meets, an information portal that is your newest guide to our town and the World Heritage sites.
While the world is gripped by the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, we have suffered great economic setbacks, within our borders as well, including, of course, in the travel and tourism sector.
As we work together with our community and the general public to maintain safe practices while on the road to returning to normalcy, a key step in that recovery is welcoming visitors once again, by presenting all that Hiraizumi has to offer. Thus, I am proud to introduce Hiraizu-meets.
The concept of Hiraizu-meets as “The place to get to know Hiraizumi’s sights, people, tastes, and experiences” aligns perfectly with the warmth and hospitality we hope to embody for all our visitors, and nothing would please us more than for you to get to know us during your stay.
